Custom build is a new type of self-build that is being promoted by the 2015 custom house building act. A custom build house is a new build house that is built to your specification and design for a fixed price by a contractor. This can take the away the stress and hassle associated with a traditional self-build, you would not have to worry about the day to day management of the build as it would be handled by a site manager leaving you free to think about all the fun creative decisions involved with a new build project.
By buying the plot and then using our fixed price building contract to construct your house you can make a large saving on stamp duty compared to buying a finished new build house, you will then be free to use these savings on something far more exciting in your build.
Custom build is also flexible, whilst we promote the fully managed custom build route described above we also recognised that some people like to take the traditional self-build route and do as much as they can themselves, if you would like to purchase an empty serviced plot, a plot with foundations or perhaps a completed shell that only needs fitting out internally these options will always be available to you.
